David Simpson's consulting experience includes structural and defective work inspections with analysis. In addition, he has been retained as an expert witness in previous cases involving structural failure and personal injury.

Other consulting work has included state and federal permit applications and feasability studies involving local ordinance and regulations. 

In addition to doing consulting work, David is also an Owner'sRepresentative.

David Simpson Construction, LLC is a licensed and certified custom home builder in Montana and is certified in Cold Climate Construction through the University of Alaska.

David Simpson Construction LLC is a small company BIG on expertise! Having the skills to actually "do the work" allows him to manage and closely control the quality of his work. David holds a civil engineering degree and has 30+ years of experience in professional construction and carpentry in areas which include: Water Resources, Surveying, Design and Planning, Large Institutional Projects, Cold Climate Construction, Custom Homes, Framing, Trim Work, Cabinetry and Furniture.

​David Simpson Construction, LLC is fully licensed and insured for your protection and possesses an "unlimited, unclassified" contractor's license. This means we are licensed for any type of construction desired with no upper dollar limit. We carry full Workman's Compensation and liability insurance and all subcontractors are insured. Our experience building a wide variety of different resort, estate, and coastal homes, marine, dock, building and commercial building projects makes us uniquely suited to meet your building needs.

The cost of any project is always important. David will give you a realistic estimate up front, not a low figure just to get the job followed by hidden extras. When building desires and budget don't match, David can suggest alternatives necessary to give you the right dollar amount. While higher quality isn't free, a little extra up front can save you money in years to come.
